Pricing and Contracts

Why can you provide services at a low cost?

We work directly with customers and use OSS, existing SaaS, and generative AI to reduce unnecessary work. We do not assume expensive configurations by default and propose systems that are sufficient for the requirement.

Are there costs other than the listed prices?

Cloud usage fees, domain fees, and external service fees are charged separately. Prices shown exclude tax, and final estimates vary depending on scope.

What is included in the JPY 11,000 monthly management fee?

It includes server monitoring, minor incident response, domain and DNS management, email account management, SSL certificate management, backup checks, and up to two hours per month for inquiries, consultation, or minor fixes.

What happens if work exceeds two hours per month?

Additional work is generally charged from JPY 7,000 per hour. For larger changes or new development, we confirm the scope and approximate cost in advance.

Is annual prepayment required?

The IT management service and CTO advisory / DX consultation are generally annual contracts. IT management service fees are generally prepaid annually, though the arrangement can be discussed depending on scope.

Can you use AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure?

Yes. However, major cloud platforms can become expensive due to usage-based billing. We compare them with affordable cloud or VPS options based on requirements.

Service Scope

Can we request only a website?

Yes. We can handle a website alone, or combine it with domain, email, server, and SSL setup.

Can we consult only about email or domains?

Yes. We handle small consultations such as DNS, custom-domain email, SSL, and migration from existing services.

Can you migrate an existing website?

Yes. We review the current server, CMS, domain, and email setup and consider a migration plan that minimizes downtime.

Can you handle e-commerce sites or reservation systems?

Depending on the scope, yes. If an existing SaaS is sufficient, we propose a cost-effective option rather than full-scratch development.

What types of business systems can you develop?

Examples include internal portals, reservation management, customer management, inquiry management, simple admin screens, and web-based replacement for Excel workflows.

Operations and Maintenance

How far do you respond during incidents?

We check the managed scope, perform minor recovery, and isolate causes. For major external-service outages that cannot be resolved by us alone, we help organize the situation and consider alternatives.

Do you provide late-night support?

Late-night support is not included in monthly management. We respond to emergencies where possible, but response time is not guaranteed.

Do you configure backups?

We configure and check backups as needed. In low-cost configurations, cost is prioritized, so recovery objectives and retention periods are confirmed in advance.

Can we receive our data when canceling?

Content files and GitOps / IaC configuration information can be provided. Proprietary source code used internally for build automation is not included.

AI and Security

Do you input customer information into generative AI?

We do not input customer confidential information or personal information into external AI services without permission.

How do you handle confidential and personal information?

We handle it only within the necessary scope. When using AI, we assume services, contracts, or settings that clearly state input data is not used for training.

How far do you handle security measures?

Depending on requirements, we handle SSL, basic server settings, access control, backups, and form spam prevention. Advanced audits and continuous monitoring are quoted separately.

CTO Advisory and Technical Support

What can we consult about through CTO advisory?

You can consult about system introduction, AI usage, UI / UX, cloud architecture, vendor selection, estimate review, and DX direction.

Can we ask only for a vendor estimate review?

Yes. We review assumptions, excess or missing scope, cost effectiveness, and alternatives from a third-party perspective.

Can you provide remote technical support?

Yes. We mainly work remotely and support design, development, reviews, cloud setup, and technical consultation.

Can you visit on-site?

Short business trips, such as one-day visits within Japan, may be possible. Travel expenses are paid by the customer.
